Exam Tips for Mathematics A

1Paper 1 (non-calculator): fractions, decimals, percentages, and mental methods.
2Paper 2 (calculator): use it wisely but show all working — method marks are awarded.
3Circle theorems: 8 theorems memorised cold — examiners use them as 'give-away' marks.
4Vectors: column form; draw a diagram first to prevent direction errors.
5Trigonometry: SOHCAHTOA for right-angled; Sine Rule and Cosine Rule for non-right-angled.
