How to turn Chemistry revision into marks

Chemistry becomes manageable when you connect particles, observations, equations, and practical evidence. Har reaction ko sirf words nahi—what changes, why it changes, and how you would know—ke through study karo.

Answer method

  1. Identify the particles, substances, conditions, and observable change involved.
  2. Write balanced formulae and charges carefully before doing mole or ratio work.
  3. Separate what was observed from the particle-level explanation for that observation.
  4. For practical work, name the variable, measurement, safety control, and evidence needed for the conclusion.

Common traps

  1. Treating a memorised colour or test as an explanation rather than an observation.
  2. Changing a formula to balance an equation instead of changing coefficients.
  3. Confusing concentration, amount, mass, volume, rate, yield, and equilibrium position.
  4. Giving a generic practical improvement that does not change measurement quality or control a variable.

Practice rhythm

  1. Build a reaction map linking reagent, condition, observation, product, and equation.
  2. Complete one calculation with units and one explanation using particle language.
  3. Predict what changes when one condition is altered, then justify the direction of change.
  4. Review missed questions by classifying them as recall, equation, calculation, or practical-evidence errors.
